Sores on Brangus brindle

I have several black brangus bred cows and one brindle. The brindle seems to keep scraping her brand to the point of making it raw. I have sprayed her with fly protectorant etc. then it seems to heal and then in the next week she does it again. Should I be putting some medicine on the wounds? I am needing help folks. How old is the brand? I wondered if it was a newly healed brand or an old one?

I have a heifer that does that to her head. She was dehorned with the barnes de-horner.

I think that while healing it starts to itch, then they scratch.

I had one do the same. Give her time and keep the flys off.
