A husband and wife along with their 9 children decided to take a day trip across town to the water park. They all got ready and walked from their apartment building down to the bus stop. As they stood their waiting for the bus they heard a tapping sound as an elderly blind man approched the bus stop. The blind fellow eased right up beside the husband and stood waiting for the bus. After a short while the bus pulled up almost completly full. The bus driver said he was sorry but there was only room for 10 people. The blind man spoke right up and said that was fine he would just walk. The husband tried to get the drive to allow him to stand in the aisle but the driver would not allow it. The husband then put his wife and children on the bus and said he would just walk with the blind man.
The bus pulled away and the husband and blind fellow began to walk. After they had walked about a mile or so the husband said to the blind man, "Sir the tapping of your stick is realy getting on my nerves, why in the hell dont you put a peice of rubber on the end of it?" The blind man stopped right in his tracks and turned toward the husband and said " Sir, if you had put a peice of rubber on the end of your stick, we would be riding the bus now!"
