Here in Utah we had an entertaining little dilemma play out on TV with live
footage from the news helicopter. A macho hiker went off into one of the
canyon by himself. He tried to repel down a pretty steep piece of terrain
but ran out of rope before he reached the bottom. His problem then
escalated when a cougar camped at the top of his rope. He couldn't go up
and he couldn't go down. He called his girl friend on his cell phone and
Search and Rescue had to chase the cat away and get him down the mountain.
