What year is your truck? Does everything else work besides odometer-related stuff? You can buy used clusters online (just make sure to document mileage because of the legal stuff)
You don't think we would ever not do the "legal stuff" do you. We never try to drive over 30 hours or bypass any scales.
 
You laugh but I drove half way across Ohio that way once 3 years ago because the interstate was closed and I had no GPS. Just kept turning on roads that went southeast. Still tickles my kids to tell that story.


I did that once leaving Staunton Va. I ended up on a road called Cowpasture River Road, it might be the most scenic rd I have ever driven in Va. and I have driven a lot of the southern half of Va. looking at cattle.
 
VA is terrible for speed traps too. I hate that I-81trip through VA.
The truck traffic has made it hard traveling. It is a pretty drive but you have to stay focused on the road. Feels like it takes forever too. Hop over on 11 when you can and have time to kill.
