My Dad had a great plan. When we went for a drive anywhere he would tell us kids, "if you spot a deer I will buy you an ice cream cone." That kept our eyes glued to the country side searching for a deer. No time to squabble and argue with my sister I needed to spot a deer. Driving through down town Seattle to visit Grandpa, I was looking for a deer. I wanted that ice cream cone (unfortunately I never did spot one in down town Seattle). Well I moved here to Baker County four months ago today. In that four months I figure someone owes me 4,785 ice cream cones......... Time to pay up.
