I can't wait for this girl to calve in the spring, she's bred to piedmontese, if anyone has a picture of a pied/LH cross I would love to see one.

Great photos.. keeping all that snow up there are you?? And I noticed in the 2nd photo, that you have a traffic signal.. Do you have your cattle trained to obey the traffic lights???
 
I don't think the chickens mind the snow as long as it's not deep and fluffy. We try to keep a dozen or so chickens year round but our new puppy this summer decided to have a chicken feast one day and now we've just got the one left. Yes mike I do have my cattle trained when the light turns green they know to proceed in a single file line to the barn. It is very handy.
