The grass is just starting to come on strong (and lots of old grass from a wet late summer last year), it was a very wet late winter and so far a cool spring. (s.e. Colorado)

How far east of Trinidad were you?

Otero, into Pueblo and a little Las Animas County along and south of Hiway 10.

Otero, into Pueblo and a little Las Animas County along and south of Hiway 10.

Farms at Hoenhe and the ranch was about 13 miles down the Purgatory from Trinidad. We had land on both sides of the hiway to Springfield , and down to the canyons.
