Calves sunning themselves...

I took a walk on the "back 40" to look for some of the others...

and they were just a little surprised to see me. Here's "KK" - the cull cow I picked up a few weeks ago that needed surgery. She has a lot of weight to gain back but she's looking alright.

One of the 3 calves KK is raising...

They didn't stick around long after I showed up. LOL.

(Hope that's not too many pictures for you folks on dial-up...)

Thanks folks , I just like taking pictures of those black and whites. :lol: ;-) Pastures are predominately sagebrush and rocks (lol), but there's some patches of grass and they're OK in the spring and early summer. Hard to feed holsteins on that though. LOL.
