Looks like the cows are coming thru winter good.All the barns make me kind of homesick,we just don't have buildings like that in Oklahoma.
 
looks like a rattail .... you can get that from crossing charolais/angus.. ive get one occasionally from angus bull on simbrah cows
 
thanks, yeah the ratty one is oscar, to cold for him to go outside so we keep his mother in a stall with the dairy cows, hes half angus 1/4 char and 1/4 gelbiveh, feels like a lamb tho lol

i hear thats one reason they dock em... causing poor performance on the feedlots
 
nice...thanks god i live in fl tho....besides the weather i could never have any kind of cattle if i had to have the facilities youve got to get thru a winter like that....this days it would never pay off....i might actually after 8 yrs of doin this make a very small..less than 1000 bucks...profit
