Here are a few cows and calves. They are looking pretty good, and all will be going to new pastures within the week.

They are on 320 acres. 200 of it is crop land though. Got 50 pair there right now, but they all go out to pasture this week. 22 to the community pasture and 25 to some other stuff we rent.

Actually it is pretty green. Cows have been out on pasture since the mid-end of April. Usually starts to get green by the first part of April, and cows are usually out on the Crested Wheat or Fall Rye by the third week of April. A lot of those pictures are of Native grass that had a bit of old growth, and they were taken late in the day so the light is a bit different. Plus a couple of the pictures are on summerfallow, and thank god it isn't too green now ;-)
