Sold some, bought some.

Help Support CattleToday:

Are you buying pairs after contracting the calf sale?
Yes, I sat beside the guy who contracted while doing it too. We laughed that the Hereford coloured calves didn't fit the contract agreement.
Only a couple. The rest will fit.

One of the best ways to insure a profit. Contract them before you own them.
Realize that he is talking Canadian dollars. After the conversion the price sounds about right.

A few more pairs on their way north and west from Kamloops tomorrow. Buyer friend messaged and asked if we still wanted a few more pairs. We asked for a video first! Cows are cows but they have 400+ lb calves on them now. 5 to 8 or 9 year old cows, all from a small dispersal, most will be bred back. They will make us a bit of income. These pairs will be delivered for less than we sold bred cows for last fall.
