[QUOTE="Bright Raven, post: 1419635, member: 27490"] Saturday, I listed my 8 month old HPF Optimizer Bull on Craigslist Lexington. He sold in less than 30 minutes. Got a text: Do you still have bull? I want him. I thought it was a scam. I was extremely cautious because the prospective buyer resides out of state (Tennessee). Talked on the phone. Told him only cash. He ask if I would accept 18 $100 bills. Reply: yes. Vet came yesterday and checked ear tattoo and filled out health papers. Certified as virgin bull so no trichomonas test. Ask Dr. Darren Stanfield, what will he weigh? I don't have him on a scale but I would estimate 900. I had told the buyer 800. Guy just left with bull. He, his son and his son's 15 year old daughter made the 5 hour drive to get the bull. Son looks at dad and says, "he is closer to 900 than 800. He has a lot of muscle and look at the bone." Loaded like a puppy dog. They walked through my fall calves. The daughter was petting them. The older gentleman (69) says no way are his Angus this gentle. I got some that would be on the other end of the pasture if this many strangers were around. I met new people and made friends. They were wonderful people. A very rewarding experience.
