This winter we got over 15 feet of snow. Today I took those pictures.
To pick up the bales you got to find them first.

How can you people live like that?????

If that is your mail box, why has the plow not knocked it over yet?????

And if those bins are full of corn ( or wheat or beans etc.. ) I dont feel sorry for you! :D

Thanks for the pics, not quite that bad here. I gave up on spring. :drink: :drink: :cry2: :cry2:

I don't care of a couple feet of snow , we got the equipment for. But 530 centimeters... enough is enough.
The bins were full of barley and now they are half full.

A friend of mine drive the plow. He is very carefull with mine.

man thats alot of snow.looks like youd have to runn the snow blower so you could find the hay.ive never seen hay covered in that much snow.

Lordy day! I used to go to Ohio every other Christmas when I was a kid to visit my grandparents. It snowed until it reached the window sills. My brother and sister and I had a blast sledding...something we couldn't do in Texas. But, in my life, I've never, ever seen snow like that...not even in pictures...until now. Bless your heart.

Ain't that purdy?

Have to say I'm glad it's you and not me.

Just thinking of the thaw kind of makes me cringe. How long will it take for global warming to melt it and then dry it up?

Looks like it might be enought to last till winter gets here. :lol2:

oh my god! it was 45 today and i was freezin...how can you live like that..omg. 15 ft of snow!! even when i lived in pa i never seen anything like that

gendronf,

Is that much more snow than you normally get in your area ? And do you lose many cattle to the weather ?

I've been thinking of you every time I've heard that QC got hit. Glad you made it through. Lots of work for you though. Hopefully it doesn't melt too fast or then you'll just have another problem on your hands. :(

Interesting cattle trailer. Looks like a featherlite welded onto a flat bed.

It's a Ebay, 8' X 24' on a Freightliner Fl80 1998 with a cumming 275. There is an hydraulic door at the back and the suspension can be lowered when the live stock get in or out.

Stepper

This winter we set records. Usually we get 7 to 8 feet of snow.
In our area, it would be impossible to keep the cattle outside all the time. My barn, the one you see on picture is 368' X 100'. What Caustic says, grass in front and bull behind, it's not for our area.

Victoria,

By the end of next month, all that snow will be melted, and in may, we gonna be working in the field. I hope that all that snow does'nt melt in two days. If so some rivers will be problems.

You must be in an area that receives lake affect snowfall. After review of these pics, I will forever cease my constant complaining about Minnesota winters!
