Snow day, The twins escape!

We had a light snow all day, it got the calves frisky.

1) The twins with mom in the barn.

2) Day old calf decides to stay inside.

3) Calves play while moms eat their mash. Ice storm damage in background.

4) I left the gate open while I went for a bale. The cows never leave, but like I said, the calves were feeling frisky. The twins escape, but quickly realize they are all alone.

5) They decide to head back to mom.

6) We're home!

All's well that ends well.

haha :lol: especially love the last picture-cute. This happened to us during our last snowstorm, only it was the cows that got out. The walked right over the snowbank and got out-electric fence isn't too effective under a snowbank. Luckily they didn't go far because they saw a wrap by the door of the dairy barn and went to town on that :lol:
