I have a 3 point snow blower with one large auger across the back. I have a chance to buy at a good deal one with two augers across the back. I was told they chew thru hard snow better, yes or no?
Owning one of each I'm going to say no. The double auger is taller and goes thru deeper snow easier. Hard packed snow is hard no matter what. Serrated/saw tooth augers help cut into hard snow better.
