temps? what color snot? clear snot is normal. i ignore clear snot. i wouldn't doctor just for snot without some other indicator such as elevated temp, cough, droopy ears, off feed, etc. when dealing with light ones, a good eye and the thermometer are your best friends.
if i have to treat, what i use depends on temp. if i catch something early with low temps, i give la200 a try. in spite of what many people will try to tell you, la200 is still effective on a lot of respiratory problems. but if i waited too late and missed something and have higher temps to deal with, i use something stronger like nuflor or micotil. i use an early morning temp of around 105 as the line.
