Smoothing out rough ground

Help Support CattleToday:

I fix mine by lightly disking to break up the high spots and dragging a cattle panel with 2 RR Cross ties on top of it. It makes quick work of hog wallows. I want to make time to make a tire drag because I think it will work better.

I have used a tire drag a lot over the years in a triangle shape. It does ok but it will dip down in the low spots and not really level it like something straight and solid.
The drag I made out of I beam (16'x4' with supports welded in the middle) works pretty good, but I have so much grass that if I lightly plow it it balls up pretty bad.
I know that harder type soil with less grass it would work better.
Dragging a hard service like a road it works really well.
