In moderation, it is probably not harmful. However, the "recreational" smoker that only smokes a few a week is a rare breed. Most smokers are quickly addicted to the nicotine, therefore they loose the "moderation".
If I could smoke only a few a week, I would jump on the chance. I do know however, they they are good enough that I would do more, therefore not being good for my health.
Nothing better than a smoke after a swig of Jack Daniels...
(The Jack Daniels should be in moderation too!)
