I HAVE A BULL THAT IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY AGGRESSIVE, IS IT BETTER TO CASTRATE PRIOR TO SLAUGHTER. SOME SAY THAT IF YOU DON'T THAT THE MEAT IS TAINTED. GROWING UP I KNEW SEVERAL FARMERS THAT BUTCHERED BULLS WITH OUT A THOUGHT. BUT NOW I HEAR THAT IT IS NOT THE BEST MEAT. THE BULL IS STILL YOUNG 1 1/2 YRS, BUT EXTREMELY UNPREDICTABLE

Get rid of him now it doesn't matter really at that age I'd personally just make him hamburger I like them butchered at a year otherwise the meat starts to get tough. So get him in there and don't worry about castrating him unless you are a fan of Mountain oysters... Jake
