Sitz Greatplains

Help Support CattleToday:

suzie- This bull by all numbers is far better than the average! You can find better bulls in many of the traits, however he is very well balanced throughout, and none of the important traits are far out of line.

Susie,

The Sitz brothers have very good genetic, but I'm probably partial to them since I know Bob. The bull is very well balanced just like Doc and la4angus said. If he's what your looking for in a bull he's worth trying, you don't know how'll you'll like his calves until you have a few on the ground.

i wont use him just based on his YH. i like +0.4-0.5 with max range +0.1-0.8. small bulls are frowned upon by our customers.

susie,
#13531361 seems balanced. But,if you plan to keep heifers..I would be concerned about his SC...and there are better out there. Depends on your objectives.

Look at the objective 3j15 bull. He is a young well balanced bull with much promise. He offers excellent growth rate (WW 205 days at 802 lbs. with 365 days at 1338wt.) with low birth rate...and notable phenoype. The price is reasonable.

I like some of the new bulls...he is one....although not yet proven. There is a wide selection depending on the your plans and herd environment.
