Simmental sire - opinions wanted

I have a Simmental cow ready to be bred after a disasterous first calving. She's a little on the small side. I have an oppurtunity to use this bull and would like some honest opinions, please.

To me he is the wrong color for a simmental.

I know, I know black is the new gold... or whatever those guys say. ;-)

Interesting, I get an error opening the file. Lucky Dice is was I would consider a terinal sire based on the Milk EPD.

He should work out ok . I AI some cows to Lucky Break (half brother to Lucky Dice )this year . We used him because he is a non spotter.

Lucky Dice & Lucky Break are brothers, but Dice WILL SPOT them. He produces GREAT cattle. Love them. Have a few milking daughters in my herd. Don't particularly lice Break calves - they are OK but usually real high tailhead and not nearly as much growth as with Dice.
He is NOT a terminal sire but is a super growth bull.

I would definately NOT use a Fleck influenced sire .. especially if the cow is small, and had a "disasterous" first calving experience!

Rocket may be good on growth but he is below average for CE & BW (really low on CE) - would not suggest him on a SMALL heifer that already had calving difficulties. :shock:
