Tryinhard, what you have to remember is that a young bull like that is like a teenage boy. He's got one thing on his mind and it's not eating. :shock:
It's not the actual breeding that wears him down ( although 8 months is pretty young ) and keeps him from gaining weight. It's the running back and forth, checking every cow in the pasture several times a day hoping to find one that is coming in heat that is wearing him down. :lol:
I understand your situation, sometimes we're forced to do what we have to do and hope things turn out.
