I used a 44 Hp John Deere 4 wheel drive utility tractor and I pulled a 9 ft haybine. I had to cut slow in a couple of spots. I cut 3-4 foot red clover mixed with timothy and orchard grass. The tractor did it, but it could have used a little more power. I cut at 2-3 mph.
