We have a dairy heifer who has recently gone off her milk. She is also suffering chronic bloat and her dung is sometimes very brown in colour. We've checked her teeth which are still at the 2 1/2 yr old stage, but she seems to be eating ok. We've also treated her with Syke's drench and bloat oil. We suspect either a mouth abnormality or an intestinal impaction, though all the symptoms don't seem to add up. Does anyone have any ideas?
