Sick calf

We lost a calf about a month ago. it was perfectly healthy and then went down. Was walking around with its head down.

We now have another one the same. We caught her today. There was swelling around the base of her feet and under the jaw. She looked to have lesions.

We have given her penicillin and a black leg shot. Not sure if this is what it is. She was a really health calf.

Where are you located? With swelling under the jaw and at the hooves, it could be hypoalbuminemia from severe worms, liver flukes etc; FMD I guess; DIC; best to ask your vet. If it dies, get it posted!! (this means a post mortem exam)
