Sick calf...not looking good

We use Draxxin and Banamine for fever the combination seems to work really well. I hope your calf makes it.

Have you tried the new Draxxin KP? It has Ketoprofin in it. One 'n done!

The calf didn't make it through Friday night. She wasn't dehydrated, didn't have scours, and no fever the last day or two before she died. Not sure what all was wrong with her. Thanks for all the input.

Ken -- I think that is what is in the antidote for tall larkspur here (the vagus nerve gets paralyzed and they bloat). The old timers used to pack a can of Copenhagen into whatever end of the distressed cow was handiest and let the nicotine do the work.

The old timers here would bleed them and walk them. Preferred place to cut was the vein under the tail. They tell me the blood would be thick and dark to start with.
