I have a bull who started looking poorly yesterday. He is not shying away from anyone or being aggressive, but he will not eat and seems to be vomiting water........can anyone give me any ideas what may be going on? Is this something serious? The other two animals in the same area with him seem to be doing fine. They are eating, drinking and all together seem ok.

Do not know what is wrong with your bull. I would seperate him from the rest of the animals and take him to a vet. This could be something serious or something not so serious. You might also try to put some Probius type bacteriums in him. But mainly, I would seperate him.

I had a cow do this a couple of years ago. The vet came out and found her throat was stopped up. He couldn't get "it" unlodged so I ground her into hamburger. We think she tried to eat one of those big hard green hedgeapples. I found her standing in the pond trying to take a drink and then throwing it up. lunker .

Thank You all who answered our posting...we had a vet come out and look at him, and it seems whatever was lodged became unlogded. The vet treated him with some antibiotics and feels the bull is doing fine now. Thanks again.
