Just curious - at your shows, when you bring a cow with calf at foot, are you allocated two stall spaces (ie one for cow, one for calf) or only one?

At our shows we are only allocated one stall space because they deem a cow and calf "one exhibit". Honestly the problems it causes! Particularly with very young calves and twins.

Shows here, the the stall areas aren't marked off, so you set up your stalls with the space you want, within limits.

At any show we've gone to, the calf can be a separate entry in addition to being part of the cow/calf entry. Separate entry equals paying for a stall space; if we pay for it, we get it.

At all the Texas major shows, a cow/calf pair only get one stall. It is really going to be a problem for our chapter this year since we will have about 8 cow/calf pairs.

Most clubs will pool money and purchase a couple extra spots,
(enter an extra 1 or 2) that way they can spread out a little more. Plus, in our group, there are usually 3 or 4 that are right at a year old, so they are smaller than the big girls. So the advisor stalls in that order so the cow/calf pairs get a little more room. Other than that the cow/calf pair gets one spot.
