Thanks for the eval. For straight do you worry more about long term breeding or calf quality? He is long fronted, well muscled and long bodied. I would be concerned that he is post legged. His rear legs appear to be too straight and his shoulder looks too straight - no angle. But, these are pictures and they don't always show the truth.
I really don't know...found him online from a former breeder (so I was told). I don't have an eye for cattle but he had a kind eye and was quiet. How's the beltie market?
How long have y'all been in it?I really don't know...found him online from a former breeder (so I was told). I don't have an eye for cattle but he had a kind eye and was quiet.
Helped run my Grandpa's Angus herd of about 50 back in the 70's. It was survival of the fittest. Haven't had cattle since 1980. Thought it was time to raise our own meat. Jeeves gets to stay unless he becomes aggressive....then he goes in the freezer. How long have y'all been in it?
Is he over belted Galloway cows?Helped run my Grandpa's Angus herd of about 50 back in the 70's. It was survival of the fittest. Haven't had cattle since 1980. Thought it was time to raise our own meat. Jeeves gets to stay unless he becomes aggressive....then he goes in the freezer.
