This is my first year that I will be showing a heifer in 4-H. So, I'm kinda confused on how to fit and clip a heifer opposed to a steer. Can you guys give me any tips or webpages I can go to so I can hopefully figure this stuff out? :D

The body dose stay the same but instead of making her really blocky round her back off so she looks more fimine. but you do take her sholders and neck down more.

I don't know about down south, but for the head here, wwe leave the top knobby part, for lack of other words, long so we pull the hair into a poll, and it makes them liook more feminine.

Depends on the heifer on that one Angus.. I left my Simmental heifer's face like that for the first show and then cut it off. She has kind of a "block" (fat) head, so she looked much better without the hair on top.

Ok-its kinda 'manditory' here to leave it lik ethat, unless you are not with a club. lol. I kinda prefer it too.

Different stokes for different folks. lol.
