Should I switch bulls?

I had a two-year old bull I turned out this spring. He passed his BSE but cows kept coming back into heat and I saw him breed several of them in two cycles. I pounded him out in July and gathered up a yearling bull from another pasture. Cows seem settled now, but most of them will be late calvers. Single bull pastures are great until something like this happens.

Update: Had him tested and vet said he was no good. Now I need to find another bull. If anyone knows where I can get one (preferably Hereford or Brangus) within an hour of Stockdale, Tx. Please PM me some contact info.
