In Cattle Today's explaination of cattle breeds, it pointed out that there are two cattle types: Box Indicus and Bos Taurus and the the tropical breeds are Bos Indicus. WRONG ! SENEPOL CATTLE ARE TROPICAL AND ARE BOS TAURUS! Just thought I would remind whoever did your cattle breed blip about this fact. C.G.

Senepol is tropical because it was originated in a tropical country from 2 bos taurus breeds. The term bos indicus it's more related with the tropics because of their rusticity and heat tolerance qualities, but several bos taurus breeds have these qualities too, as the Italians breeds and all the black pigmented breeds in Europe.
