Seeding Wheat

I need some help finding the right type of wheat to plant. We have never planted wheat before, just mostly oats. Last couple years we tried barley but our land just does like to grow it. Our soil is mixture of mostly clay, sand, and top soil with some buck skin. I was wondering if there is a type of wheat that will grow where barley won't.

any wheat verity would work for you.i would stay away from buying the wheat with with a name.because you are paying for the name.the best wheat to get is what we call vns wheat.wich means verity non stated.an thats just combine run wheat.an its been been cleaned an tested.an you plant 90 to 100lbs to an ac.
