In reality it as actually working fairly well. Macon turned it off for a couple of days but has since turned it back on. So far today it has blocked 5 spammers. The spammers that had been posting the porn have had their URL blocked along with being banned.
New member posts may take a little while to be posted but to cut down on the spam and junk I think it's worth it.
I do try to check a couple of times a day to see if there are any posts pending approval.

How long does it take to get approval? I can see the need for such a thing, but I can also see where new, legitimate posters might get frustrated and leave if it's taking a few hours for them to be heard. I guess there's no perfect solution.

I am not sure of the number, I think it is 10 posts. I asked Macon to see about changing it to 5 since most spammers don't post more then two or three times before they are caught and banned.

The most recent, recent changes....I like. The 'screen' is the right size again. As in, when I click on a subject/thread, from left to right is all within the screen, I don't have to scroll sideways constantly. I'm so glad that is overwith. I kept checking in from time to time to see if that had changed. Yay!

That side to side scrolling has a way of making me feel car-sick after a while :lol: .
