Braunvieh. They have digressed from the dual purpose the same as Shorthorns. Milking Shorthorns - Brown Swiss. Beef Shorthorns - Braunvieh. They've been selected for better beef traits but still maintane the same basic qualities, lazy calving, large calves and not very bright.
