scours and Related cures

my mother has just bought seven calves from an auction about 2 1/2 hrs from our home. Six are still alive one died. It was about 2wks old. Im not sure but I say it was scours but we arent sure. Before we left the auction we gave them Borgal and Biomycin. The calf was listless within the late second day and choked on the electrolytes we tried to drench him with. We need some info please we need feedback.Are there any other drugs or types of drugs we should give them.

Hey Sally,

Not to worry... Your right they probably are scouring. Dont give thim any colostrum it wont do any good. There are electrolites made for young calves. And call your vet and get some SULMETT boluses.
