Some Hindus don't eat beef, but many eat some kind of meat. And they eat eggs and dairy. Vegans claim not only to not EAT meat, eggs or dairy, but to use nothing derived from the meat industry. If you live a "normal" life in the US, you can't escape the uses of animal byproducts.

This is not politically "correct" but states with a higher percentage of minorities have lower average I.Q.s because some minorities (Asians being the opposite effect) tend to test poorly. States with a higher White and Asian population tend to score higher than a southern state with a 30% Black population like Alabama or Mississipi.
