I put a trail camera on some deer remains along my back fenceline. This rascal showed up for a free meal.

i bought a couple of #3 traps to put in some dirt hole sets but I think I am going to put them around this carcass instead. I dumped more bones and meat scraps out by the carcass this afternoon. I got dozens of pics of this one and the mate hitting the carcass 3 or 4 times between 7 last night and 4 this morning. Going to get scent free and set the traps tomorrow afternoon so I can check them while I am off work. He sure is a pretty, healthy looking yote. Must be living good on all the muscovy ducks I have lost this year.

Thanks. I don't have any wires electrified on this side of my property. Nothing but woods on that side so cows seem to ignore it. I do have it hot on the two sides that border my neighbors as they also have cattle.

I'm glad you posted that Steve. For a minute there, I was asking myself:
"Is it wrong that the first thing I noticed was the fence?"
