I saw the vet today, he checked my heifer and could not feel a calf, and said that does not mean she is not pregnant, He was not prepared to do a test, how do I know if she is pregnant or not. She will not let the bull near her.

If she's not in heat she won;t let the bull near her. Either rectal palpation or ultrasound are the best methods to determine pregnancy. Waiting 9 months to see if she calves is another but it's a waste of time if she's open.

you can either sell her or wait anther 8 months, if vet could not say she must be less than 40 days bred. if you want to keep her i would have her checked again in 3 or 4 weeks

id wait 90 days an palpate her again an he should be able to feel the calf in her by then scott
