Whats up? Don't any of yall like santa gertrudis. Their like on of the toughest breeds in Texas. they are so cool and have good tempers.

I do,I do! They are not only tough in Texas, they are also tough in Alberta. Mine also have the most wonderful dispositions and are cool . Speaking of cool its -28 degrees F this morning. Pretty nasty out there for man and beast. I'll talk gerts anytime!

The cattle are fine. I should take pictures but the camera doesn't work so well when its this cold. Its hard keeping waterers running and moving about but I think its hardest on the hydraulics of the bale deck on the truck. Despite plugging in the block heater and wrapping a battery warmer around the hydraulic resevoir, its still only good for a couple of bales. A few chores can take all day long when you are fighting frigid temps. The good news is , its supposed to warm up to 0F by Wednesday.
