Salt or no Salt

Help Support CattleToday:

Salt all melons, tomatoes, and fried fish. For the most part I rarely use any. I prefer my watermelon cooled in the shade instead of the fridge.

Heard a joke years ago about teh old watermelon farmer who kept checking is fields and noticing that someone was coming in every night and stealing his best melons. He got him some croton oil and doctored one up and put a sign up saying "One of these melons contains croton oil".

Next day he came out to the field and another sign was in the field saying "Now two of them contain croton oil".  :lol2:

Grandpa tells stories of raiding a melon patch or two. Farmer was waiting for them one night and sprinkled them with shot from a distance. That cured him from stealing melons real quick.

Purchased or stolen ??
I think the pc question is purchased or "liberated"
"Liberated" a few when I was much younger......no time to look for salt or a knife. :lol2:
The salt was probably trying to catch you from behind at high speed!
