Saler Cattle

Recently purchased some crossbred black Saler and Braunvieu(sp) heifers. Has anyone bred that cross to horned Hereford and with what results? Are they black baldies?? Also, are they good milkers and mommas? Have had excellent calves from crossbred Brahman and Braunvieu heifers. They are heavy milkers and good mommas. We crossed with registered Angus bull. Haven't tried using our registered horned Hereford bull. Live in se TX.

Unless the salers are homozygous black you will get black and red baldy calves out of them i've done this cross and the calves look good.
