Can a saler bull be cross-bred with a hereford cow? What kind of calf do they produce-color, size? Would the cow have calving problems due to the size of the bull?

sure it can be, should make a red calf with a white face. should grow into a 1200 pounder. not sure about the size of calf ,but would think it would be fine on a cow, i'm sure some one else can tell you about calf size

Yes the can, they would be a red baldy, finish at 1300 lbs, and no the cow wouldn't have calving problems. The Salers breed is a calving ease breed.
