Seen GB at the barn today.
Mainly garbage going through seen one bull bring a 1.06
Longhorns for slaughter were bringing .70 and up.
Seen two sets of grey brimmer girls that were worth buying go for 850 a piece had to set on my hands.
A few groceries and next year in the spring they would bring premium dollar bred.
They were just to young be 6 to 8 months before they would breed.
The rest belonged in Wolf Brand Chili.

I didn't stay for the calves but GB did.

Quantities and prices were way down this week compared to last week across the board and if sellers were expecting a repeat of last weeks good prices they were disappointed. Those brahmas did look good!
Calves? Not much there either.
Only a handful of steers/heifers broke $2, and if they had 200 total I'd be surprised.
I think the harsh weather early in the week and next week's cold forecast produced a bunch of last minute culls. Would have been a good day to buy heifer calves if they had anything worth buying.

Here's the #s on Crockett this week:
