What is the criteria for differences between medium 1s and 2s and large etc. Is it frame or what? Is there a guide? Also what are you being charged at the sale barn, is it based on lbs or total sale price? Thanks

I am not sure about the classification. Our stockyard charges $30 a head + 2% of total sale price.

Small, medium and large refers to frame score. The 1,2 or 3 refer to muscle scores with 1 being heavy muscled, 2 average and 3 being thin.
The sale barn I use charges a commission based on what the animal brings. If it brings between a certain dollar amount it is so much to sell. Brings more , you pay more. Bings less you pay less in commission.
