Safe Guard given, use IVOMEC ????

Bought six heifers by private treaty seller said that he had given them safe guard dewormer about three days ago, I don't trust the stuff because you can't control intake when mixing that stuff by hand. Is it safe to give Ivomec per label if in fact he has given safe guard?
