That might be it, sounds like it does everything Keren needs, but does not suppress the immune system and is not hard on the liver or gut, if what I have read in the last 5 minutes is accurate..But how accessible is it ?

Yep, it does sound awfully promising, I'm googling around at the moment to see if I can access it here, will also give the vet a yell tomorrow.

Very easily accessible from your vet.

I've had it offered to me more times than I can count for both horses and cattle. Reasonably priced too (compared to other drugs).

Yep, hopefully I can get the vet to agree to give it to me for the goats, since I'm betting its not registered for use in goats ... we may have to get permits etc

Well at the moment we are still on Flunixil for a longer treatment interval, that finishes this weekend so after that we will re-evaluate again. Looking into bute and meloxicam (metacam) as alternatives.
