We've got a Border Collie about the same age, she wouldn't hurt a flea either. The little monster we found on the road last March on the other hand.....well she wouldn't hurt a flea either but she will chew on a cat or chase it up a tree all day long then sleep with it at night. Dogs are something else.

Damn, that really sucks. Sorry for your loss.
I'm sorry to hear that. My grandfather always had Border Collies. They are very smart dogs. They have helped him sniff out tools he lost while fencing, took notes from my grandmother to grandfather when he was out on the farm, and they were great cattle dogs.
