> I'm in South AL so may have the same climate you do....I plant an early maturing variety here so I don't have any damage to my Bahia. Ribeye or plain old Gulf Annual is up in around 7 days or so...I let em' in there when it's about 4-6 inches high but only about 2 hrs per day. I also sow crimson clover with the ryegrass. I'd watch that grazing and get em' off of it if you see most of it down to 2-3 inches..you don't want it below that. Hope this helps...
