Roy was a trooper on the Yakima River today, i bet her legs were tired balancing on the raft tube. She only fell in 3 times. Hahaha

She fell in once getting bounced off by a small wave, fell off the tube acting like a BC puppy once, then she was pestering me and I "helped" her fall in. She does love the water and slept like a baby last night.

The working dogs just love being part of what you do. It is great that you can give her that life. She must be getting so close to you, look how she is looking back at you in that first photo.

I like dogs better than humans. I realize that it's likely me. Relationships require effort, and relationships are relative, like humidity. Dogs must have a lower dew point.

Patty is 18 months old today. I don't think she will grow any more and she has plenty of ear for her size. Rufus is over 3 years old and she has always had small floppy ears. Patty is a smaller dog. She weighs 36 pounds. Rufus weighs a little over 60 pounds.

My other BC had ears more like Rufus, when Roy perks up the things are huge.

Roy's new favorite spot in the worktruck for commuting. I took the headrest off to give her a little more room. She gets to work tired, hang on Roy corner! She's showing excellent instincts with the cows too,, amazing!
